Basket Full of Hearts

Happy Mother's Day to all hardworking mother's out there!
I made this card specially to my mom and my mom-in-law. I did not get a chance to send it out to them in India because of my laziness... so here it is dedicating to them. I hope they get a chance to check it out.
I made this card using the image "Basket full of hearts" from Digi Doodles Shop. Digi Doodles Shop is sponsoring the challenge at Daisy Doodles and the winner will be eligible for a wonderful prize from them. Can't wait to see what it is going to be.

Recipe for the card:
Digi stamp from Digi Doodles Shop colored with copic markers. Hearts accented with Glaze pens from Sakura. And flower centers embellished with golden micro glass beads.
Image cut with spellbinders circle dies and large scalloped dies.
Designer Paper is from Graphic 45.
Butterfly punch and fence punch are from Martha Stewart. Butterflies are accented with gold stickles.
Ribbon is from my stash.
Sentiment was digitally generated on my new MAC BOOK PRO which was a Mother's Day present from my husband on behalf of my 4 yr old son.

Wedding Card

One more card!! Yesterday my husband and I attended an Ethiopian wedding of one of his colleague's at work... It was so beautiful and just so much fun. And i made this gate fold card for them.
This was my first wedding card and also my 1st gate fold card and I quiet like the way it turned out.

The stamp used is from Magnolia 2010 wedding collection. I totally love the couple. So perfect together. The image was colored in with copics of course. I accented it with stickles and copic spica pens.
I have used one DP from Basic Grey and the pink cardstock is from Bazzill. The silver cardstock was embossed with a cuttlebug folder, which i used for the first time.

The silver flower is handmade from the same paper which is embossed. The other two flowers and charm are from Micheal's.

The butterflies were cut using paper punches from Martha Stewart and EK success punch and then embellished with pearls from Micheal's.

The ribbons are from my stash which I was so happy to put to some use (finally).

The sentiment was some stamp which I didn't know I had. But i really like the font. Just matches the sentiment so well.
And since I had made this card and loved it so much I had to make an envelope to go with it. But I did not have enough time to make something very fancy. So here it is using my Enveloper for the first time ever.

Have a Beautiful Day!!

Hey folks!

The weather here is really getting better... In fact it was a beautiful typical california weather day.. Lotsa sun and clear blue sky.. Since my mood was pretty cheery.. this is what I came up with this card.
In this card I have tried to show a pair of love birds sitting on a window sill. The dies used for cutting are from Spellbinders which I bought just today to make the window.

I am so totally in love with these love birds.. they look so chirpy and happy.. just like I was feeling today. This image is from Daisy Doodles as you can see. And I so love it.. You have to check all the other cute images available from Daisy Doodles. And what more.. they are having a sale right now..
I printed the image on Coconut Swirl paper by Bazzill and colored the image with my favorite copic markers. I cut out the head and one wing of each bird and layered it with foam dots. I think this technique just makes the image pop.
The flowers here are hand made using paper punches and some pearls and some stickles.
Ribbon was lying in my stash so was happy to use it. I think it is from Michaels.
